My Story

Dr. Vincent Bizor Nachinab is a distinguished Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Hospital, Eikwe, where he spearheads comprehensive women’s health services for communities across Ghana’s Western Region. His leadership extends beyond the delivery suite—he is a driving force in shaping maternal health policy, mentoring young clinicians, and ensuring that women in both rural and urban settings have access to safe, respectful, and highquality care.

With over a decade of dedicated service, Dr. Nachinab’s career has taken him through pivotal roles, including Senior Medical Officer and Resident Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, and Clinical Coordinator at Father Thomas Alan Rooney Memorial Hospital. These positions have refined his expertise in managing complex obstetric cases, implementing evidence-based protocols, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

A proud alumnus of the University of Ghana School of Medicine and Dentistry, Dr. Nachinab complements his clinical acumen with a Certificate in Health Administration and Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). His commitment to continuous professional development has seen him undertake advanced training in maternal health, diagnostic ultrasound, and emergency obstetric care—skills that have proven lifesaving in resourcelimited settings.

His scholarly contributions include coauthoring peerreviewed research on maternal health, reproductive outcomes, and the impacts of COVID19 on healthcare delivery, with publications in respected international medical journals. These works not only inform clinical practice but also influence policy discussions on women’s health in Ghana and beyond.

Beyond the hospital walls, Dr. Nachinab is deeply engaged in community outreach—conducting cervical cancer screening campaigns, leading antenatal education programs, and partnering with NGOs to expand access to reproductive health services. His advocacy is rooted in the belief that every woman, regardless of geography or income, deserves the right to safe childbirth and dignified care.

Aside clinical work, Dr. Nachinab supports women empowerment programs that promote financial literacy and personal self care for women in his free time through campaigns and sensitisation programs.

Through his work with the ACO Women’s Campaign and the Eikwe Project, Dr. Nachinab continues to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and grassroots impact, embodying a vision of healthcare that is compassionate, inclusive, and transformative for the women and families he serves.
