Founder & President
Paul Opoku
Paul Opoku Agyemang is the Founder and Executive Director of the African Cancer Organisation (ACO). Paul has more than 20 years of working experience in the global cancer control mission. He started his career as a Clinical Engineer in the early 2000s, working in a National Centre for Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine facility in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa. He got involved in Cancer Registration and Epidemiology, later into Cancer Prevention, Advocacy and Capacity Development. He has worked on several cancer projects with leading cancer control experts and organisations worldwide and is currently promoting how Africans could prevent future cancers.

Secretary
Venus Dadirai Mushininga
​Venus Mushininga has held leadership positions both nationally and internationally on Board of Directors/ professional associations/ executive management positions of several private limited companies, professional bodies, cancer care organizations. She has pioneered the setup of the first pharmaceutical wholesaler that specialized in import and distribution of oncology medicines in Zimbabwe, the first retail pharmacy that specialized in oncology, and the first clinic to provide cancer services in which other clinics have been modelled. She has been responsible for setting up and running a chain of pharmacy retail outlets.

Professor of Pathology
Agyeman Badu Akosa
Professor Agyeman Badu Akosa is a Ghanaian pathologist, academic, politician and social commentator. He served as the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service from 2002 to 2006. He is a member of the Convention People's Party and is a well-known believer in the ideals of Kwame Nkrumah, founder of the CPP. He contested for the Party's presidential candidate ahead the 2008 General elections. He is a professor of Pathology and an advocate on lifestyle issues.

Professor of Cancer Genetics
Gian-Paolo Dotto
Professor Gian-Paolo Dotto is an Italian researcher and professor at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston (MA) and the University of Lausanne. His research focuses on genetic and epigenetic determinants of Cancer susceptibility and pre-malignant to malignant conversion.

Professor of Medical Physics
Eric KT Addison
Professor Eric Clement Kotei Addison is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Physical and Computational Sciences, College of Science. He has been lecturing in the Department since 1994. He is currently a Part-Time Lecturer at the Department of Medical Physics, School of Nuclear and Applied Sciences, University of Ghana, Legon. He is also a Medical Physicist and the Head Radiation Safety Officer at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi.

Breast Surgeon
Meskerem Abera
Dr Meskerem Abera Degife is a seasoned Medical Doctor with 15 years of diverse experience in clinical care, academia, and leadership. She earned her medical degree from Addis Ababa University in 2010 and began her career at the then Adama University (now Arsi University), Asella Hospital, where she served as a General Practitioner, Assistant Lecturer, and Dean of Studies.
