
My Story
Carl Asamoah is a seasoned finance and advocacy professional with over a decade of experience spanning international development, banking, and non-profit leadership. As Finance Coordinator for ACO’s Woman Campaign Project, Carl brings a unique blend of financial precision, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to social impact.

Before joining ACO, Carl served as Global Advocacy Monitoring Advisor at Sightsavers, where he led the development of monitoring systems across multiple country programmes and spearheaded the organisation’s first Voluntary Stakeholder Review. His work has consistently focused on strengthening financial accountability and programme effectiveness in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Carl also directed financial operations at SISCODE/GH, a grassroots organisation promoting digital literacy in Ghana, where he managed donor relations, payroll systems, and reconciliation protocols. His earlier career in banking—at HFC Bank and CALBANK—honed his expertise in compliance, risk management, and transactional accuracy.

Carl holds a Ph.D. in Finance (Financial Technology) from Brunel University London, an MSc in Business Economics from the University of Reading, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana. He recently completed a certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from Oxford University, reflecting his passion for sustainable development and innovation.
